We have signed a Student Exchange Agreement with the North China Electric Power University

On Friday, December 14th, a meeting with a delegation from the North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) was held at CTU in Prague. The Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering prof. Ing. Pavel Ripka, CSc. and Vice President of the North China Electric Power University Prof. Wang Zengping have signed a Student Exchange Agreement.

The North China Electric Power University was also represented by the Dean of International Education Institute Mr. Bao Xiaoyong, Deputy Director of International Cooperation Department Mr. Wu Yanjun, Deputy Dean of International Education Institute Ms. Li Bo and deputy director of Academic Affairs Department Prof. Zhang Xiaohong.

CTU in Prague was represented by the Head of the International Office (Rectorate of CTU) Ing. Volfgang Melecký, Deputy head of the Department of Electrotechnology Ing. Karel Künzel, CSc. and Head of the Department of Languages PhDr. Dana Saláková. Departments was also represented by prof. RNDr. Pavel Kubeš, CSc. and Ing. Karel Řezáč, Ph.D. (Department of Physics), Ing. Martin Kněnický (Department of Electrical Power Engineering), Ing. Tomáš Košťál (Department of Electric Drives and Traction) and Mgr. Petra Jennings (Department of Languages).

After the Student Exchange Agreement was signed, both sides discussed plans according to the future cooperation in scientific and academic fields and visited the Laboratory of High Voltage, the Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics, the Laboratory of Electrical Engines and the eForce FEE Prague Formula Workshop.

Based in Chinese Beijing, as well as in Baoding and Hebei Province (branch campuses), the North China Electric Power University is one of the largest and most important educational institutions in China. More than 27 000 students were enrolled to the academic year 2018/2019.
