Anotation:

The subject deals with a basic methods of study of 1 and 2 D steady and 1 D unsteady compressible fluid flow.

Course outlines:

Basic laws of gas dynamics. Thermodynamic and transport properties. Boundaries of applicability. Similarity. Physical acounstics. Basic properties of steady flows. Flows with energy transfer. Shock waves and related discontinuities. One-dimensional unsteady flows. Basic examples of 2D compressible fluid flow .
