Anotation:

Lecture summarize applications in physical acoustics, room and building acoustics, environmental acoustics, noise and vibration control, physiological acoustics, diagnostics, and ultrasound.

Course outlines:

1. Basic characteristics of a sound field.
2. Sound pressure, measurement, sound level meter and its properties.
3. Radiation characteristics of sound sources.
4. Non-stationary and impulse sound fields, measurement and evaluation.
5. Noise control, basic principles.
6. Vibration measurement and control.
7. Active noise and vibration control.
8. Architectural acoustics, measures and parameters.
9. Materials for room and building acoustics.
10. Measurements for architectural acoustics
11. Standardization in acoustics, calibration methods.
12. Fundamental of electroacoustics.
13. Sound studio technology.
14. Sound quality evaluation.
