1. | Application of sensors in buildings: motivational examples. Physical principles of sensors. MEMS. Sensor parameters. Measuring chain. | |
2. | Position sensors (contact, optical, magnetic, capacitive and ultrasonic). Sensors and transducers for measuring vibration and speed. | |
3. | Sensors for measuring mechanical stress, forces and torque | |
4. | Pressure, flow and level sensors Temperature sensors, non-contact temperature measurement (pyrometry, thermography). Sensors for measuring ionizing radiation. | |
