Anotation:

The course is suitable for students who have good knowledge of the material covered in secondary school in that language. Course objective: The course focuses on technical English and practising difficult grammar concepts.

Study targets:

Course objective: The course focuses on technical English and practising difficult grammar concepts. Listening: Authentic texts, exercises on the text, interview,news. Reading: More difficult texts and newspaper articles, mathematical symbols and abbreviations and technical texts. Speaking: Discussion of technical drawings (graphs, diagrams) and texts, presentations, discussions, describing objects, leaving messages and stating preferences. Specialised terminology from the field of study. Writing: descriptions, technical specifications, stating preferences. Grammar: Revision of tenses, participles, subject and object questions, articles, countable and uncountable nouns, subject - verb agreement, passive, verb phrases - (verb + to- infinitive/ gerund/ preposition. Using a dictionary.
