Admission Procedure for Doctoral Study Programme

Entrance examination for all PhD study programmes at FEE CTU in Prague (except of doctoral study programme P2612 Electrical Engineering and Information Technology) for academic year 2020/2021, to start on September 1, 2020 or on February 1, 2021, will be held on

June 16, 2020 at 9,00 a.m. - to start on September, 2020
January 5, 2021 at 9,00 a.m. - to start on February, 2021

at the departments. The deadline for submitting the Application form are
April 30, 2020 (to start on September, 2020) or
October 31, 2020
(to start on February 1, 2021)

Application forms should be delivered to the Office for Science and Research (OVV) or to the faculty registry or by mail to the address:
Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering,
Technická 2, CZ-166 27 Praha 6 – Dejvice.

Required attachements to the Application form:

  1. Evidence of the fee payment for the application procedure costs; see below.
  2. Brief curicullum vitae.
  3. Copy of educational document and language proficiency:
    • certificate and master degree diploma; applicants from abroad will submit certificate of validation of foreign university degree (diploma nostrification),
    • copy of school-leaving exam certificate of the Czech language or successfully passing the Czech exam at the Department of Languages if applicant will study in Czech or
    • English certificate at level C1 approved by the Department of Languages if the applicant will study in English or a statement that the applicant wish to demonstrate language skills at the Dept. of Languages.
  4. A list of publications.

Applicant choose general topic of disertation thesis from the list published.

The actual tuition fee for one academic year 2020/2021 (two semesters) is CZK 138 000, (one semester is CZK 69 000) according to the Status CTU in Prague, Annex 11 of January 31, 2019.
