We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Dongguk University

On Friday, October 5th, meeting with delegation from the Dongguk University was held at CTU in Prague. Vice-Rector for Science, Creative Activities, Doctoral Studies and Foreign Relations of CTU prof. Ing. Zbyněk Škvor, CSc. and President of the Donggong University Dr. Tae Sik Han (Buddhist Monk) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The Dongguan University was also represented by the Vice President of University Planning (Professor at Faculty of Engineering) Dr. Euy Soov Lee, Director of the President's Office (Professor at Faculty of Buddhist Studies) Dr. Nam Kyol Heo and Head of the International Affairs Office (Professor at Faculty of Engineering) Dr. Jong Tae Rhee.

CTU in Prague was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering prof. Ing. Pavel Ripka, CSc., Dean of the Faculty of Nuclear and Physical Engineering prof. Ing. Igor Jex, DrSc., Vice-Dean for Foreign Relations at the Faculty of Architecture doc. Ing. arch. Irena Fialová and Head of the Department of Measurement prof. Ing. Jan Holub, Ph.D. Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies was represented by the Head of the Department of International Cooperation doc. Ing. Jan Vlachý, Ph.D. and Ing. Miloš Krejčí.

After Memorandum of Understanding was signed, both sides have discussed plans according to the future cooperation in scientific and academic fields.

Based in South Korea's cities Goyang and Gyeongju, as well as in Los Angeles (American campus), the Dongguk University is one of the largest and most important research institutions in South Korea. More than 15 000 students were enrolled to the academic year 2017/2018.
