Personal data protection

A) Processing of website traffic data

Like most websites, we use cookies to make browsing this website as pleasant as possible. Cookies evaluate your movement around our site to help us improve it. They also allow us to show you relevant sponsored content here, on other websites, or on social media that provides more information about study opportunities at FEE CTU. Thank you for helping us take the FEE presentation to the next level!

What are cookies and pixels, and why do we need them?

Like most websites, we use cookies, pixels, and other technologies. Below, we describe how they work and why we need them.

Cookies are small data stored in your browser or mobile device as you browse a website.

Pixels are small images or "pieces of code" found on a web page or in an email. Pixels collect information about your browser or mobile device; some may also store cookies.

Different cookies have different storage times on your device. Some cookies are deleted from your device after you close your browser window(session cookie), and others remain stored on your device after you stop browsing our website(permanent cookie).

Why do we use cookies?

Cookies allow us to remember your actions and preferences over time so that you do not have to re-enter them each time you return to a website or move from one website to another.

Cookies help us understand what interests you on our website and whether it is clear enough to find what you are looking for. We, therefore, use them to improve the user experience. Cookies may also record other information, such as the number of visitors to our website or which sections you visit most often. In addition to improving the web interface, they are also used to ensure that you are shown promoted content relevant to your interests and needs. For example, if you are interested in an undergraduate program, we will not use promoted content to introduce you to doctoral degree options. Communication through promoted content (such as lab videos) is also essential because social networking algorithms somewhat disadvantage unpaid posts. Therefore, if we want to effectively inform you about the study opportunities at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, we need to find a way to reach you and, ideally, refrain from spamming you with irrelevant content.
